It is with broken hearts that we share the news that on January 7th, 2016, Dr. and Mrs. Owen’s daughter Eloise passed away. Most people would never have guessed that Eloise, who shined on the basketball court and dazzled on the stage, was born with a rare heart defect.
“Wheezy” squeezed more out of her nine years of life than most hope to in ninety. She stole hundreds of hearts with her contagious smile and zest for life. Through countless medical procedures and hospitalizations, her faith in her God and her hope for a cure never wavered. Read more about Eloise’s amazing life.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in the Fine Arts Auditorium at Cabot High School. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Cabot.
The family would like for all who attend to wear bright pink or turquoise in memory of Wheezy’s two favorite colors.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Eloise’s name to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, CVICU unit, or to The Mid-South Make a Wish Foundation.
Your support helps kids receive life-saving treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
