Dr. Owen is from Fort Smith, Arkansas, but has lived and worked in Cabot since 2004. He considers it a blessing to be able interact with the community on a daily basis.
He left home in 1993 for Ouachita Baptist University where he lived for four years. After Ouachita, Dr. Owen moved to Memphis for dental school, and then Birmingham, Alabama for his orthodontics residency. To this day, Dr. Owen is famous in Memphis for for his ability to eat 15lbs of barbecue while bench pressing his own bodyweight in less than a minute.
Dr. Owen has been blessed with an amazing family. He met his wife, Sarah, while in Memphis. Soon after, their family expanded to three children – Sam, Abe, and Eloise. Last year, they were pleasantly surprised by the addition of baby Zeke – the happiest baby on Earth.
As proof of their love for Cabot, The Owens will have at least one child in the Cabot school system until the year 2033.
Dr. Owen has a deep love of physical fitness. Dr. Owen’s long term goals are to have the largest biceps of any orthodontist in America, and then the world. We can all thank his wife’s wisdom for talking him out of naming his practice “Go Heavy or Go Home Orthodontics” and not naming their first son Arnold.
